Yeah.. it's been a while, I know.

I've actually been kind of busy as of late. Various assignments, last midterm, you know. Of course, some of it was due to laziness, but that's a given. Anyway, things are alright. I thought November was an autumn month though? You know... coloured leaves maybe... decent 0+ degree weather. Apparently I've forgotten that this is Canada. We got a couple of centimeters a couple of days ago, but it's all pretty much melted by now. Not that I really mind the snow, but my goodness, the winds. Walking to school at 8:15am with winds at something like 70km/h and snow blowing in your face really isn't cool. It also just so happened that it was the same day as my last midterm. [sigh]. But, I still managed to get there ony time and (I think) pwn that test.

Haha, speaking of which, recently I've been using that a lot; pwn (pronounced, pone). It comes from this mysterious person that one time mispelt own in probably some CS game somwhere. Anyway, it stuck and is now in the l337 sp33k dictionary. It's probably funny to use 'cause it's so stupid. Hahaha.. that and using nub (newbie -> newb -> noob -> n00b -> nub). That sounds even more stupid, I know, but still, it's even stupider to use, making it that much funnier.

Other news.... well, I woke up this morning, and had a bit of trouble speaking. I could feel last night that I was going to have a sore throat, but I didn't know what real effect it would have. My goodness, I scared even myself. When I first tried to speak, nothing really came out. I tried a bit harder and BOOM, the deepest that I've ever heard my voice. Damn, it was sweet. Morning voice + sore throat = THXesque bass. It's still sore now, and I'm still speaking much deeper than usual, but the initial boom is of course gone. Too bad though... ha, maybe it'll still be here tomorrow.

Last little bit of blogging here. Two very important dates: Nov. 14 and Nov. 18. November 14 was the date my new DMB - Concert in Central Park DVD got mailed out (I'm all flustered about it... I can't wait) along with a bonus live cd (SAFE!). Novemeber 18 is the date... well, you all should know. I've waited a LONG time for this, but it'll be worth it. Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers extended version. Oooooohhhhh baby. I'm even more flustered about that. It apparently goes on sale at midnight. And trust me, I would sooo go and get it, but really, there's little point. 'Cause I know I'll just come home, open it, and have to watch it right away. That in itself isn't bad, but I have housemates, and LOTR just isn't the same without everything LOUD. I guess I'll wait till sometime during the day.
