Just what's been going on lately...

Went back to Toronto this weekend. Mainly because I was supposed to have an ortho appointment today, but I decided not to go since school's more important... *ahem*... (yeah, I skipped my morning class today anyway. 'Twas a good trip back anyway. Spent some good time with the family, most of that time was spent eating of course (REAL freaking Chinese food... MMMmmmm....). I think my grandma was really happy to see everyone back. I'll be heading back in two weeks for thanksgiving.

Movies again... the LOTR:ROTK trailer is out, as is the Revolutions trailer. I mean not to watch either trailer if I can help it (Tolkien-ish, no?), just so when I actually do see the movies, they'll both be that much better. I can be pretty obsessive about these two movies, as I thought the previous iterations of either series were incredible (see Kenneth's blog for further details about mental anguish). Unless I'm exposed directly to the media (like being forced to watch the preview when watching a different movie or something), I won't watch anything that has to do with either movie.

I also have a couple of CS assignments now (no... not counter-strike...) so I'll actually be a bit busy these next couple of weeks. There's some definite rust when it comes to coding (since I wasn't writing entire programs in the summer, just parts here and there). Oh well, whatever.... On a related note to the above point, I'm now starting to use newsgroups and irc to d/l movies. Oh my... the sources are endless now. Looks like there's going to be lots of multitasking between coding and movie-watching now. Heh... we'll see how it turns out...
