What a week…

I’ve been busy this week to say the least. Sorry for the lack of updates, but the busyness combined with laziness has an effect on things like this. Anyway, what I was alluding to in my last entry was that I saw LOTR:TTT AGAIN… third time in as many weeks. Crazy? That’s right… but well worth it. It was only $8 in a decent theatre anyway, so I mean, I might as well have taken advantage. And besides, the movie is freakin’ amazing, so it was still just as enjoyable.

So an update on my week. Right from the beginning, it was bad. I spend most of Sunday in front of my computer doing these stupid combined accounting problems for my business lab on the Monday. Since I had had some accounting experience before (you know, having done OAC accounting and everything), I figured it wouldn’t take me that long to finish. But no, they have to make the problems confusing and stupid, so I have to keep checking and rechecking my answers. The worst part about it, is that I didn’t even need to have them done for the lab ‘cause we didn’t have time to take them up (yes, homework does count for marks in this case). Argh. AND we started a collective bargaining agreement simulation in the class, so I spent the rest of the week getting myself acclimated with the info, and preparing arguments for my next lab (I’m on the union… yippee…).

Tuesday was spent mostly in class, where I had a calculus (yes, CALCULUS) lab, which lasted a good 2 hours. And of course, right have that I had my STUPID comp. sci. lab. The teachers tend to be very vague in exactly what they want us to do, so of course it takes the entire 2.5 hours (if not more) to finish. I was exhausted to say the least at the end of the day.

Wednesday though… oh man… that really took the cake. Besides an hour in the morning for lunch, and an hour in the evening, I was either in class or in meetings from 9am till 10pm. It was seriously brutal. Normally I wouldn’t have the meetings, but since there’s that whole collective bargaining agreement thing, I had to meet with the rest of the ‘union’ to discuss our bargaining strategies. Added to that, I had two tests on Thursday, and my physics lab. Man am I glad it’s Friday. The sad part is that it doesn’t even get much better. Besides the bargaining thing on Monday, I have a midterm next Friday (yes, already) in stupid economics. At least it’s Chinese New Year though… and we all know what that means… tee hee…
