The Boondock Saints

Ok, I finally made it my business to watch it. And really, I have no idea why I didn’t watch it before. I’ve had a ripped copy for a while now, but just didn’t get around to watching it. A bunch of people have been telling me for the longest time that it’s a really good movie and all that good stuff, but yeah, I’ve been lazy. Anyhoo, being the first week of school and everything, I watched it. And yes, it was as good as everyone said it would be. I didn’t really know what to expect other than someone saying that it was remotely in the same genre/style as Snatch, or Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, but it wasn’t really like that at all. It was stylish and everything, but not like the Guy Richie films. Anyway, it lived up to how good everyone was it would be. There were some parts here and there that weren’t as well done as I thought they could’ve been (like the whole choral/operatic themes were a little much, and how “el duke” only got hit once in that shoot one), it was still well done. I figured out who he was before the fact too, which detracted a bit from the impact of that whole thing, but still, nice little surprise there. It’s kinda too bad the whole idea wouldn’t work in real life though… you know, how pretty much everyone would die sooner or later? Yeah…

Anyway, off to bed… maybe I’ll do some studying tomorrow, or maybe I’ll… have to watch… yeah, you’ll read about it later.
