Tests

It was a pretty good day, despite the fact that it ended at 4:00pm and it’s a Friday. First, the news about my economics midterm. I thought I had studied. I’m still pretty sure that I did. And it’s not like I failed or anything, but I got this funny feeling about it. All the other guys on my floor have the same feeling. Well, it’s over and done with. I’m pretty sure about all the questions I answered. I guess I’ll have to see about whether or not that’s good enough. Good news though, I had quizzes in calculus and comp sci on Wednesday. The calc quiz was easy and only worth a couple of marks, but I aced that and am pretty happy anyway. The comp sci quiz is another story. Basically it was a pop quiz where we had to handwrite a program out on paper. The program itself was simple and all, but not being able to insert lines is what makes it take a long time and somewhat frustrating. My lecturer is also pretty anal about documentation, so that had to be perfect too. Most of the people in my class (including myself) didn’t have much experience in coding in C (and in some cases, coding entirely) and we didn’t have much time, so it was pretty frantic. To my own surprise, I ended up getting 100/100marks. Woohoo! Not that I know the context that those hundred marks are in, but still, nice to see that red ink on my paper. We’ll just have to see about that midterm…. Oh well, time to party it up tonight!
