Some random thoughts and happenings

Dunno why, but recently I’ve started to listen to all those classic old-school techno. You know, those songs by groups like The Real McCoy. I know you all listened to them too at one point, so stop kidding yourselves… but yeah, I find myself looking for these old songs and playing them repeatedly. It’s all good though, nothing wrong with reviving the classics. I can’t remember the names of some of them, so if you guys remember any, let me know! It’s all about classic techno!!

As some of you know, I’ve started working out again recently, and boy how my strength has deteriorated. Two weeks ago when I first started out again, I could barely lift half of the weight I used to be able to. Man, felt so small and weak compared to the rest of the people there. Good thing I always seem to go when there aren’t a whole lot of people there. AND it’s a good thing I’m not stupid enough to try to impress anyone with over lifting. It’s an occurrence I see way too often. And besides… all the girls work out upstairs with the cardio equipment…>= )

I also have my first mid-term this Friday afternoon, Economics 120. Dan says it’s not too hard and all multiple choice, but I’m not sure. Sure, so far it’s been fairly simple and common sense, but I’m getting a weird vibe from the prof about it. Maybe it’s just because he doesn’t really know what going on since he teaches at both UT and Laurier…. Oh well, I’ll still study my ass off and hopefully ace it. I DID get perfect on my first physics quiz though, just to give out some good news. It was probably work about 2% on the year, but hey, better than nothing.

Another quick tid-bit of news, my good man Kenneth, with his usual Lau diligence for weird things, has found the longest LOTR-The Two Towers trailer out right now. It’s not very big, but still pretty freaking WICKED. The site where it’s originally from is pretty slow, so I mirrored it here. I’m not quite sure if the link works or not, so let me know.

I’ve also been watching Smallville recently. And for good reason. Kristen Kreuk. I was first introduced to her about a year ago when my good friend Devin said, “Man, you HAVE to watch this show.” Knowing his judgment, I really should’ve listened to him right away, but I didn’t. Now that I’ve seen… the show, I must thank him. She’s definitely up there on the all time best.

Alright, that’s enough of that... back to studying.
