Some Softball

So it’s been six weeks since my surgery (well, it will be six weeks this tuesday, I cheated a little, hee hee), so I decided to take the last chance to play some softball this summer. Daniel and co. organized a small tournament where both junior teams, and a team made from miscellaneous players who for whatever reason didn’t join a team this year just got together to play some games. Well, it didn’t really turn out the way it was planned since the diamonds at Hendon were still booked by the city leagues, and we had to cut the games short. Either way, I had a great time… but I’m paying for it now. Sitting on your butt for 6 weeks not doing any exercise really takes a toll on your body when you try to be active again. I didn’t feel all that tired I guess, but I definitely felt like I had no wind left. And now, oh boy… I feel the soreness already. Oh well, it’s all worth it. It’ll be quite some time until I get to play again.
