Almost there….

Well, it’s been 2 weeks since the operation now, and the progress made has been substantial. The swelling is just about all gone, except for some residual swelling in my left cheek and lips. I can also open up my mouth a lot wider too. This is good, especially since it means that I’ll be eating solid foods again at the end of the week for sure. You have no idea how dull it is to be having congee ALL the time. Seriously, after these next few days, I’m not going to have congee again for a LONG time, trust me.

Also finally got the chance to go to church this past Sunday. Got plenty of funny faces my way to do my change in appearance. Although still recognizable, I do look pretty different than before. I guess it’s going to take a while for everyone (including myself) to get used to. Maybe I’ll get some before and after pics up here soon….

Can’t believe it’s been half of summer already. I feel like I haven’t done much at all. Well, yeah, that’s probably ‘cause all I’ve been doing is sitting home ‘cause if this stupid operation. Oh well, hopefully August will be a whole lot more happenin’. There’s still a bunch of movies I’ve been meaning to see but couldn’t yet. Goldmember looks funny as hell, and there’s Road to Perdition, K-19, Minority Report, and still more to come out. If any of you guys feel like watching any of these, call me up, I need to get out of this place!
