"It's gettin' hot in here..."

Indeed, these last couple of days have been blazing hot. I had to drive down to the office today to set my computer up for work. My goodness, I don't understand how it can be so cold in this part of the world, and yet so freaking hot too. I didn't want to turn on the a/c either, 'cause well, frankly I was already running low on gas, and I didn't need something else besides the engine draining fuel. And besides, a/c isn't good for the environment... right Michelle? = ) And just some thoughts about everyone who drives to and from work downtown. They must have some sort of condition, 'cause I mean, it was pretty badly clogged up on the DVP when I was coming back up and it was only 3. I don't even want to know how bad it is during rush hour. PLUS THE HEAT!!! The subway is underground (where the sun don't shine!!!) and it has a/c. I mean come on.... Back to the story though, my computer is good to go, and I can finally start earnin' some solid coin.

I also went to the junior softball exhibition game today. I must say, quite the interesting teams and strategies. I just wish they would still listen to me. Hey, I know I don't have any real authority anymore, but it's kinda frustrating when I tell people to move over to cover a spot where I think it's going to be hit, they don't move, and then the ball gets hit there. Oh well... hope the coaches can work things out okay. Still wish I could've played this year, but I guess I'm going to have to deal with being sidelined.

On a final note, just because I have to say it... GO BRASIL!! Oh, and for all those who watch soccer too, do yourself a favour and watch the game on telelatino if you get it. Sure, you may not understand the commentary (who cares anyway?), but it's so much more exciting. The announcers go crazy whenever there's a goal. So good... "Ronaldinho <<"insert some Spanish">>... Rivaldo <<"insert more Spanish">>... GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLL!!!! GOL! GOL! GOL!!!" Okay, I'm done now.
