Back in Toronto...

So here I am, sitting in my family room on a borrowed laptop. It's been about 5 weeks since I've been home (at thanksgiving). It feels kinda weird to be home. Not that it doesn't feel good or anything, but I dunno, it just seems a bit weird to be back. Maybe because it's been so long... or maybe because *gasp* I've gotten used to Waterloo. Well, whatever it is, I'm sure it'll pass.

So what's been going on with me lately? Well, I had a whole slew of midterms within the span of 8 days, so it was fairly hectic. Along with job interviews, sleep was rare and precious. But, everything's over and done with, and I've done fairly well on my midterms and I've already found a job at CIBC. It'll be in downtown Toronto, so I'll have to make the commute down there everyday like I did the summer, but I guess it'll be ok. Hey, my dad's done it for the last 15 years, so it can't be that bad.

I've also began to feel pretty old. I don't really know what it is... maybe because a bunch of people around me have been having their birthdays recently. How does that affect me? Well, mostly because they've been turning 19 and 20, and I've already turned 21. Yes, maybe young compared to some of you who are reading this... (hahaha), but still, I feel old. That and the fact that I'll be graduating later than everyone else my age, and I'll actually be graduating at the same time of people a year or even two years younger than me. Ugh. Oh well, whatever, it was the choice I made when I went into this program.

Anyway, everything else has been alright for the most part. I just can't wait until Christmas... for so many reasons too. Firstly, of course, just the whole atmosphere and attitude at Christmas time is amazing... it's only like that for once during the year, and it's so refreshing everytime. Then of course, there's the finishing of exams and the holiday itself. Ahhh... it'll be nice to be out of school for another 4 months. I'm definitely counting down the days. My exams this year are on the 14th, 16th, and 18th. And no, there aren't any doubles. Hee... only 3 exams this term. Yeah, that probably means I should do fairly well on them... let's just hope that's true. The bad news is that the exam on the 18th is a Saturday at 6:30pm. Ugh. Hopefully I'll still be able to go home that night. I'd very much like to be home as early as possible.

Alright, that's it for now.... Hopefully I'll be posting regularly again.
