So it's been a while... AGAIN

What's been going on? well, not much.. just the same old school stuff. So what to say... well, for one thing, the 'fro is back, and in full force. I'm growing it out due to my grandma's concerns about Jensen's wedding. Yes yes, all to make her happy. Obviously it's not going to be a 'fro at the wedding, but I haven't really decided what exactly it'll look like. And yes, I do find it kinda weird to grow hair just for his wedding, 'cause after all, when it's all said and done, it's getting shaved again. Really, you don't know how convenient it is to have little or no hair. I do however think I'll have to see just how big I can get this 'fro to stick out. Hahahaha....

Anyway, The Passion of the Christ came out yesterday. I'm pretty anxious to see it, especially with all the controversy. Apparently it's supposed to be extremely violent and graphic. Well, yeah (I mean, duh? This is Jesus' crucifiction we're talking about here). A lot of critics only see that, and in fact see it as over the top. The review in the Toronto Star (whom is reputed for making REALLY bad reviews anyway) said that it was a myth, and still others thought of it as Gibson's story. Are people really that ignorant that this is a true story? Or do they really not know? Or has the story just taken on that light since it's now the " new millenium"? I dunno, I'll make my judgements about it after I see it.

On another note, I was rather disturbed today when my friend sent me this link. I knew this guy as an acquaintance, but still, it's very shocking to see this so close to home. I don't even know what really to say about it besides the fact that it's utterly sick and evil.
