DMB made me bleed

So there we were, standing outside gate 1 of the ACC waiting for my brother and sister to show up. Why does it feel like there’s something coming out of my nose? Oh wait, there is. It’s blood. Bloooooooooood! My nose started bleeding just before the show last night, and even dripped onto my (white, ugh) jacket (washed it out, s’all good). I shrugged it off and went into the show. But little did I know that that would be a sign of things to come. No, my nose wasn’t bleeding during the show at all, but it may as well have been. This was, by far, the best DMB concert I’ve been to, and probably the best overall (although, that Wooten one was out of this world). The set list:

Don’t Drink the Water
#41
Granny
Louisiana Bayou *
Crash
Hunger For The Great Light *
Seek Up
Grey Street
Old Dirt Hill +
All Along The Watchtower +
Dream Girl
Stand Up
Crush
Don’t Burn The Pig
Stay *

Okay, now seriously, I would’ve been happy if they had just did #41. Or Grey Street. Or Seek Up. Or Crush. But to have them do ALL of them in one show… wow. Those are 4 of my top 5 DMB songs (not in that order). I mean, I would’ve never expected them to have played all those songs in one concert. A few? Sure. But ALL? So good. The energy of the crowd was as amazing as always, and the band was just spectacular. Long jams, great dynamics… everything I could’ve wished for and more. Started at 8:30, over at 11:30. GG.
