The New Job

Okay, so I’ve actually be meaning to post this for a while, but various things have come up and I’ve either forgotten to post, or I’d be in the middle of writing it and the power would flash (yes, that happened once here at work… despite having UPSes). Anyway, the pertinent question of course, would be, “How’s work going?” Well, it’s going alright, as far as jobs go I guess. It’s definitely the most interesting job of the 3 co-op jobs that I’ve had, but obviously not as entertaining as my time at espressoCode. They’ve definitely given more stuff to do than my previous jobs, but I guess that’s not saying much. I gotta say though, it helps a lot that I get a dualie setup. That is, I have dual machines, as well as dual monitors. It’s mostly because I have to so many tests that I can just do them on one machine (and let it run) while I do whatever else on the other one (mainly surfing). Joseph also works here, and CJ from Woburn. They keep things a bit more interesting as well. Drawbacks are, of course, the firewall (no webmail, no IMing…) and the longish commute (1-1.25hrs). Although, I’m fairly used to that by now. And I just realized that GoogleTalk works through the firewall…. So, install that and look me up. My contact is chasiu[AT]gmail[DOT]com.

Anyway, more to come later… I should get back to work. But before I do, I have to just say:

U2 on Friday… OOOhhhhh Yeeeeeaaaaahhhh!!!!
