Miscellaneous

Nothing specific to talk about, so I’m going to be all over the map on this one.

I’m tired. And for no real good reason either. I’ve stayed up way longer than I should’ve these past couple of days. I’d be up doing whatever (no, not really Warcraft either), and before I know it, it’d be 1am or so. Blech. Oh well, I’m still making it to work on time and I’m still fairly productive, so I guess it’s not all that bad. That morning coffee really helps a lot too.

Hmm… other stuff that’s been happening lately… well, it looks like I’m going to be up for worship again this coming Sunday. It turns out that Kevin is extremely ill and won’t be able to play guitar for Sarah’s team, so I got the call. Not a big deal, but it definitely adds to everything else that’s going on. Like prepping for the LCCF Winter Retreat coming up in 2 weeks. I’m supposed to be organizing one of the bible studies we’re having. Surprisingly enough, I don’t have a whole lot of experience in this area. Actually, truth be told, this will be my first. I think it’ll turn out alright. I’ve enlisted some help and whatnot, so everything should be fine. I’m going to have to head up to Waterloo this coming Saturday morning to have a prestudy with the cell group leaders. For some reason, it’s going to be at something like 9:30am (which means I’ll have to leave Toronto at around 8:30am, and thus be awake at around 7:45am). That also means that I’m not going to have very much time to sleep in. Argh. Oh well, apparently sleep is overrated anyway.

In other news, I’ve been doing a lot of toy shopping lately. Not really buying, but I’ve definitely been looking at some stuff that I wouldn’t mind picking up. Let’s see… well, there’s that iPod that I’ve been eyeing for a while now, but I’m waiting for the right price. I’m in no rush to get it, so I may not actually get it for a while. That and the fact that the fifth generation is supposed to be out fairly soon. I’m also looking for a good deal on that Lego Ferrari F1 that I posted about before. The cheapest that I’ve found is still around $100. Booo…. I wouldn’t mind getting a new PDA either, but then again, if I did, I probably wouldn’t get that iPod. Hmmm… or, I could just not get anything and save the money. Sounds good.
