Froze My Face Off

So after all those days of complaining that there’s no snow, it hit pretty hard these last couple of days, particularly that fierce, bitter cold. That wind this morning… impressive. I need new stuff now. Thicker gloves, a scarf, a thicker and more wind-proof toque. I think I’ll have to hit the mall after work today… maybe STC. Actually, I don’t even remember the last time that I was in that mall. Seriously, it must have been summer. And yes, I still do live right beside it. I think it’s probably because it’s gotten so grungy these past couple of years. Apparently there are a bunch of new stores and whatnot in there. I guess I’ll have to see….

And what’s up with the Raptors? We’ve started winning? It’s hilarious that we’re 6 games below 500 and in the playoff hunt. Gotta love the Atlantic. Vince Carter on the other hand… hmmmm… I don’t think I’ve chimed in on the whole trade here, so lemme take a few minutes to opine. All I have to say is, freaking guy. Larry Brown was right when he said that a max contract player shouldn’t be allowed to demand a trade because when you sign for a max contract, you’re dedicated to that team for that amount of time. You have faith in the management, and you give your best effort every time you’re on and off the court. The guy now goes to New Jersey and plays like he used to. Freaking guy. Look at Jalen Rose. I don’t really like the guy that much, but he got benched from being a starter and he still tries every time. What does Vince do? Whine, complain, not try, and just overall suck. Freaking guy. Anyway whatever, good riddance. You know, I used to be his biggest fan. I was a fan when he was dunking on everyone, and I was a fan when he was injured and everyone was bad-mouthing him. But oh how I’ve lost respect for him. What a baby. I hope Bruce Bowen messes up his ankle (or as Matthew would say, “angle”) again. I’m going to try to get tickets for his return in Toronto. He’s going to get the most vicious booing. He thinks TMac has it bad when he comes back here to play? Just wait.
